During the moth I focused on how we have no idea how any one is doing. They could be smiling on the outside but they could be hurting. In this image you first look at the smiling face but as you look at it more you see the other face, sad and hurting. Through the process of making this image I wanted the viewer to take a minute realize what was being seen. Using an overlay and masking in the image, I can manipulate what is seen and when.
